Quarterly Tax Payment Deadlines

The following provides the payment dates and deadlines for quarterly tax payments:

January 15th, 2022 (3 days before payment date)

In cases where the 15th of the month lands on a holiday or weekend (for example, the Q4 2021 payment lies on the 18th of January), the payment date will be the next business day.

A Quarterly Tax PaymentQuarterly Tax Payment - A non-reversible IRS tax payment that Abound submits. Quarterly tax payments are initiated by calling the Tax Payments API endpoint. created after the Abound Submission Deadline will be attempted but are not guaranteed to be submitted to the IRS by the payment date.

1099 Filing Deadlines

Forms 1099, when filed via Abound, are due to the IRS on March 31, 2022; an exception is Form 1099-NEC, which is due to the IRS on January 31, 2022. Abound requires that you create your Forms 1099 at least three (3) business days before this deadline. Abound's deadlines for 1099-NECs are January 26, 2022 and for other Forms 1099 March 26, 2022.
